One-to-One Private Yoga Classes
One-to-One private sessions are designed and tailored especially for you. Sessions can be used to develop and grow your yoga practice or to alleviate and support any physical, emotional or medical conditions.
Complete beginners and seasoned practitioners all have plenty to gain from these specialist sessions devoted to your needs and personal development. They may be taken as a one off experience, a weekly/fortnightly/monthly session or as a periodical complement to your weekly group classes.
Each session can be therapeutic or technical in nature depending on the individual and their reasons for coming. I uniquely blend of all the knowledge of my 12 + to years of yoga experience to design and set out a plan uniquely for you. You will feel positive effects from the first session and I give you all the guidance and support to also start to practice at home between sessions should you wish.
I have worked with many students over the years specifically on stress management, burnout recovery, anxiety, chronic pain management and back pain. I also highly recommend these sessions to existing students as an opportunity to fine tune their movement, postures and transitions and explore modifications to accommodate injury, pregnancy or illness recovery. For beginners it is a great way to gain confidence in yoga movements and postures so you can ultimately feel comfortable entering a group class should you wish to.
We can focus on gentle or dynamic movement but for many these sessions are simply a safe place to rest. Much like a going for a regular massage, this can be an opportunity to relax, de-stress and come back to your inner harmony through softer practices such as restorative yoga, pranayama, yoga nidra or meditation.
Private sessions are currently taking place from my home studio in Ballincollig. They typically last between an 60-75 mins and cost €60. Expect to allow full the 75 mins for your first session as we spend abit of time discussing your individual needs. Appointments are available Monday – Wednesday each week.
