Meditation
Meditation is a wonderful way to add calm and peace to your life. It is an incredible tool for coping with stress & anxiety and has also been proven to have many health benefits.
Join me for classes where we learn how to sit in comfort both in a physical and mental sense. Throughout courses we try out different styles and focusses of meditation. From breath, mantra, mindfulness, visualisation, you are sure to find a method that works for you.
If you would like to practice from the comfort of your own home, you will find an entire 5 part course within my online video library. This course of 5 x 30 min sessions offers simple methods for learning to incorporate meditation into your daily wellbeing practices.
Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is a practice of guided relaxation which calms and soothes our nervous systems, easing busy minds and leading to less stress and better over all health.
The most wonderful thing about yoga nidra is absolutely anyone can do it! This healing practice requires no experience, it often involve elements such as settling the body, setting an intention and guiding the awareness around the body.
The translation of the word nidra means sleep, but this is not the intention (although some of us often drift into sleep!) Instead through gentle guidance, our awareness is led to bring about complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation.
